Right-wing politicians spent 2023 launching an all-out assault on trans rights—pushing bills that restricted healthcare access, targeted trans youth, and threatened basic freedoms. Yet, 40% of Americans weren’t even following these legislative attacks.

At the same time, mainstream Pride messaging was everywhere. Rainbows, corporate sponsorships, feel-good ads. But what was missing? Rage. Urgency. A real call to action.

The challenge? Cut through the noise with a campaign that was bold enough to mobilize action, sharp enough to break through, and unapologetically Crooked.

We weren’t going to sugarcoat it. This campaign wasn’t just about celebrating Pride—it was about defending it.

So we built "Fuck Bans: Leave Trans Kids Alone"—a defiant, disruptive, action-driven initiative designed to:

  • Amplify queer voices across Crooked’s ecosystem

  • Educate & engage audiences on the real threats facing trans youth

  • Raise money where it mattered most—in the states where anti-trans bills were hitting the hardest

This wasn’t a one-off donation drive. It was a movement.
